Spring!

A Memorial Day fishing trip landed us this nice Northern Pike from Yuba. It was a cold day, but a fun trip nonetheless. Grandpa Heers caught this fish, but the boys begged it from him and we ate it up for dinner that night. Delicious!!

All the Heers cousins together...Seth, Carlie, Jason, Kyle, Ava, and Sean

More cousins...

This is our duck with an identity crisis. He thinks he's a rooster. I don't think we would have been surprised to hear him crow.

When the weather is nice enough, we take advantage of the outdoors. Kyle loves getting wet!!!

Jason had his preschool graduation...he's really growing up. Kindergarten here he comes!

We had a surprise birthday party for Grandma Silvestri's 80th. Here is a football game at the party.

The Mays in May

Here are a few pictures to show what we've been up to lately...

The tulips have been beautiful.

This is Jason's birthday date with Kyle and our friend to ride the scooter, tricycle and stroller along the river trail.

Our early start to spring gardening...green onions, peas, carrots, beets, spinach, and lettuce.

What would boys be without a few trips to the local pediatrician? Jason fell off the couch onto the wooden trunk this morning and ended up with four stitches in the back of his head.

Jason and Kyle with the neighbors collecting all the roly-poly bugs they could find.

My First Attempt at Blogging

Well, I guess it was bound to happen at some point. I love looking at other blogs, so I thought I'd try my hand at it. I'm hoping this is an easier and more fun way to show off my three (soon to be four) boys. This is a recent trip we took to Zions and St. George for a couple days. The boys loved looking for lizards and finding tons of caterpillars. Ben and Kyle swimming at the hotel pool. No, the arm floaties did not work. But they do look cute.We rode the bus to get some much needed ice cream. Kyle loved riding the "dus."
This is on our way... (notice how alert, happy and excited)...
On our way home...(this signifies a fantastic trip!)...
