Apricot Season

What a great time of year! Jason woke up one morning (before any of the rest of us were ready to be up) and went outside to pick apricots by himself. Childhood can't get much better than that:) We are eating fresh apricots every day now and wishing summer could last forever.

Here is Kyle helping us pick apricots. He is not going to be left out of anything if he can help it!

Sean and Jason climb the branches and get all the ones that I can't reach from the ground or a ladder. They are awesome!

This picture is for Kristy...a belly shot:)

The finished product...some beautiful bottles of apricots for the winter. Quite pioneerish, huh?

I am jealous. My grandma had an apricot tree and we loved to go and pick them and eat them for her. Your boys are quite the climbers. I don't think I would want to go that high in the tree.

I am glad that we don't have any good climbing trees. I don't think I am ready for my babies to be that high, yet. I probably should face reality that none of them are babies anymore.

I'm so glad your blogging! It is crazy how busy life can get, and even though I just love you to pieces it just doesn't work out often enough to get together! I am sad summer is almost over too!!! I will get less time with my sweet kids!
